STEPS TO INVOICED VALUE

Step 1: Create Sales Order (SO)

  • Enter phone, VIN, and part details in Tekion.

Goal: Convert quote to a valid Tekion order.

Example:

  • “Customer PO: PartsTrader Quote.”

Step 2: Apply Price Code

  • Choose from Tekion Price Codes (15, 22, 23, 37).

Goal: Assign the correct pricing structure.

Example:

  • “Use Code 22 for OEM parts.”

Step 3: Apply Discounts

  • Apply eligible discounts from Opstrax.

Goal: Reflect program-based discounts correctly.

Example:

  • “Infiniti 37% discount confirmed.”

Step 4: Verify Gross Profit

  • Use GP = SP - UC; GP% = GP ÷ SP.

Goal: Confirm margin compliance.

Example:

  • “$250 SP - $200 UC = $50 GP (20%).”

Step 5: Generate Invoice

  • Include SO# and customer reference.

Goal: Finalize billing in Tekion.

Example:

  • “Invoice #INV-2025-1035.”

Step 6: Schedule Delivery

  • Assign SAC (overnight), LAC (2–3 days), etc.

Goal: Align with delivery timeframes.

Example:

  • “Dallas = 4–5 Days delivery.”

Step 7: File Documentation

  • Upload invoice, SO, and reference to shared drive.

Goal: Maintain electronic record for QC.

Example:

  • “Save under \Parts\Wholesale\2025\Invoices.”
